• UI GreenMetric Ranking 2016

    Naresuan University was ranked 112 with a score of 5,619 out of 10,000 from 516 universities by the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking and was ranked in 4th position among 22 Thai universities. The results were released by the University of Indonesia (UI) on December 29th, 2016.

  • Replacement of air conditioner for a better world

    To make a better world, Naresuan University has initiated a policy to install new inverter split type air conditioners to replace the ten-year-old split type air conditioners, which use refrigerants that will not harm the atmosphere to promote a better environment. The policy will be implemented under collaboration between Naresuan University and the private sector partners. The plan is to investigate and collect data before and after the replacements to learn how much energy was saved in the form of Measurements and Verification (M&V).

    (ภาษาไทย) Executive Committee Meeting for University Rankings (2/2016), chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Panomkhawn Riyamonkol, Assistant to the President for Educational Quality Development Division, was held on 19 August 2016 at 09.30 a.m. at Supankallaya Room, Office of the President and attended by faculty staff members and executive committee.  

  • Learning by doing – NU Organic Farm

    Naresuan University has launched “NU Farm Project” initiated by Dr. Phawat Wijarat from the Department of Agricultural Science, the Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment. This combined program was set for freshmen of the Department of Agricultural Science in order to promote the becoming of Green University by introducing organic agriculture into academic curriculum according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy conceived and developed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.
